Our SIRIS thin plate weir range comes to fit standard sizes, including v-notch and rectangular weirs.

We can also supply alternative size and specification weirs for applications where standard sizes cannot be used, such as large rectangular notch systems and compound weirs.

All SIRIS thin plate weirs are fabricated from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and machined by highly-accurate laser.

SIRIS thin plate weirs are guaranteed to meet MCERTS requirements and satisfy BS/ISO 1438.

Ideal for cleaner effluent

Thin plate weir devices are simple devices used for liquid flow measurement where high accuracy is required, and are ideal for testing cleaner effluent, such as industrial discharge and final effluent outfall applications.

Long term and reliable flow measurement

Most of the standard size thin plate weir range come with a solid built-in approach fabrication which significantly reduces the likelihood of head gauging errors in the completed structure.

When designed and installed properly SIRIS weirs provide accurate long term and reliable flow measurement.

Accurate & reliable data

SIRIS weirs carry MCERTS accreditation so you can be confident that the data provided will provide accurate and reliable long-term flow measurement.

Our thin plate weir range is designed in accordance with BS/ISO 1438 and BS/ISO 4359 and will meet with relevant regulatory discharge and MCERTS requirements.

All SIRIS products are compatible with our web-based data recording software, which allows quick and easy access to your data at any time – from any location.
