Following the inspection the inspector will issue you with a detailed report confirming whether the site meets the minimum requirements laid out in the Environment Agency’s standard MCERTS reference document, minimum requirements for the self-monitoring of flow.
In the event that the site fails to achieve the minimum requirements the inspector will provide guidance on remedial work required to bring the site into conformity.
Following your site inspection we will also conduct a Management System Audit (QMS) inspection. Once your site has been deemed compliant you will be issued with an MCERTS certificate.
This certificate is valid for five years and is subject to periodic surveillance visits.
